Class Location: Valley Forge National Historical Park (King of Prussia, PA) and surrounding local parks.

Date and Time: The class usually meets most Saturday mornings (class time may vary based on the number of participants and time of the year). No experience is necessary for most sessions. For advanced classes (which will be clearly indicated), we prefer that you have a lesson in the basic technique before joining the group. The lesson can be arranged at a mutually convenient time.

We blast an email a few days prior to each Saturday walk as our locations are weather-dependent. If you would like to be added to our mailing list, please email us at byfootagain@gmail.com with your name and information and we are happy to add you to our list.

Waiver and Acknowledgement of Risks: Completion with your name and signature of these documents is mandatory for all activities.

COVID 19: Proof of vaccination (2 shots & booster) is mandatory for all walks.

Class Length: We usually walk for approximately two hours (4-5 miles). This includes warm-up and stretch time.

Inclement Weather: We usually step out in appropriate clothing and walk unless there is a heavy rain or chances of thunderstorm. If the weather is uncertain, please call or check the web site for an update.

Equipment: Dress as you would for a walk or jog in a park. Wearing good sport shoes that correctly hold the foot and ankle is a must. Waterproof hiking shoes and rain jacket are recommended when the weather is uncertain. When the weather is getting chilly, in addition to an appropriate jacket, a hat and gloves are a nice addition to avoid getting cold.

Nordic Walking Equipment: Nordic walking poles are necessary to practice this activity. You can use our poles or you might wish to bring your own set. It is essential that poles be Nordic walking poles and not hiking poles.
